Holiday on Ice is the worldwide market leader in Ice Entertainment, visiting arenas in more than 80 cities per year all over Europe, South and North America and Asia. In the past years, Holiday on Ice has created a new generation of ice shows. These shows, with the best show skaters and special acts, also contain extravagant and beautiful costumes, colourful props, fireworks and modern designed decor sets. They bring a unique combination of family entertainment and live spectacle for an audience of around 1.5 million worldwide visitors per year
In the coming season the following shows will be presented:

FESTIVAL, TROPICANA, ENERGIA, MYSTERY, NUTCRACKER ON ICE

At present, around 400 people are employed by Holiday on Ice spread over 3 to 4 shows. The head office is situated in the Netherlands (near Amsterdam) and Holiday on Ice has entities in Hamburg, Paris, Exeter and Montevideo.
Holiday on Ice is a subsidiary of Stage Entertainment, the international live entertainment company, famous for its musicals and theatres.

Each show is produced in Holland and from there will travel 3 to 4 years around the world. Every week the largest cities in various countries are visited. A week consists of about 6 to 8 performances, rehearsals, press events etc. Each show consists of around 70 employees, which includes 35 skaters and 35 crewmembers and staff of many nationalities. The start and duration of a tour can be different; e.g. a tour might start in September and run until the end of May.

For the new season we are currently looking for:

TOUR MANAGERS

The job in general :
Your main goal is to manage and control all daily matters and unexpected issues that occur during the tour. To manage all the personnel at various levels and from various backgrounds, who are working in and around the show. You are the ultimate representative of Holiday on Ice on the spot. You are travelling and staying constantly with the tour, from the start until a few weeks after the last performance.

Your key duties are :

• Management of heads of departments, artists, crew, hired local staff.
  
• Coordinating the running of the show, travelling and hotel accommodation.
  
• Communication between the tour on the one side, and the head office, venues or local promoters, local press and other media etc on the other side.
  
• Representing Holiday on Ice as a spokesman and contact with press, other media, local promoters, venue-owners, sponsors etc.
  
• Responsibility for the tour running budget en financial management
• Pre-production and preparation of a tour at the head office before the tour starts.
  

We are looking for managers with at least the following qualifications :

• HBO, Higher/secondary vocational education with some financial background.
  
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in travelling with mixed groups of international backgrounds, preferably in the live entertainment or rock & roll sector.
  
• Minimum experience 3 years in a management function and leading groups of people.
  
• Excellent leadership and communication skills and a pragmatic problem solver.
  
• Capable of creating a team and keeping a good atmosphere.
  
• A good head for figures and financial insight.
  
• Excellent knowledge of MS Office ( including Excel)
  
• Excellent knowledge of the English language supplemented with one or two other languages.
  
• Able to be away from home for a longer period of time.

RESPONSABLE COMMERCIAL(E), CDI, Paris 9è

De formation commerciale (Niveau BAC +2 - BTS ventes ou équivalent), vous assurez la vente de nos productions de spectacles vivants. Véritable expert sur le terrain, vous savez écouter, conseiller et convaincre. Vous maîtrisez les outils informatiques courants et justifiez d’une expérience terrain de 2 ans minimum dans la vente. Une connaissance du milieu culturel serait un plus.

Directement rattaché(e) au Directeur Commercial, vous êtes garant(e) de la réalisation des objectifs en termes de CA et de développement de votre secteur (Comité d’entreprise, Association) par la prospection, la recherche de nouveaux clients et la fidélisation de la clientèle existante.
